Coming of Age
Aged in Pinot Noir barrels, Barrel-Aged East Side Gin takes botanical-build of juniper, coriander, cardamom, fennel pollen, lemon balm, and lemon verbena from East Side Gin and elevates it to a new level of boldness and complexity. The process of barrel-aging not only adds an oaky richness to the gin, but also concentrates the flavors of the botanicals to bring out the best in each one. The result is a gin that is full-bodied but nuanced, and perfect for sipping on its own or in your favorite gin cocktails.
So the Story Goes
Our passion for gin and the East Sides that inspired it led us naturally to barrel-age our flagship gin. After a careful process of experimentation and refinement, we found the perfect balance of oakiness and botanical elements that complements the original flavor of East Side Gin, creating a new offering for gin enthusiasts and skeptics alike to enjoy.
The Process
Barrel-Aged East Side Gin is crafted with the same attention to detail and expert blending of botanicals as our East Side Gin. After distillation, the gin is aged in Pinot Noir barrels for several months, allowing it to absorb the unique flavors and characteristics of the oak and the wine that was previously aged in the barrel.
